I'm a nine year veteran that got out in 2006 to pursue a civilian life of building and creating rather than destroying. I've since finished my B.B.A. in economics in 2009 and ventured into organic, or rather natural sustainable, methods of food production. I'm very interested in goats and sheep for dairy and meat. I would like to start a grass-fed goat and sheep operation within 30 miles of Austin. I have little experience with livestock except for many books I have read and I grew up working in a butcher's shop in Philadelphia, and usually they weren't alive by the time we got them. I need information, and I'm not biased who I get it from. I'm young, smart and motivated to create a different life.
